Brighton Vegan Activists campaign in city centre
Brighton Vegan Activists braved the rain for their twentieth Down with Dairy event in the city centre.
The grassroots group aim to bring awareness about veganism to more people through outreach demos, single issues campaigns, and chalking events.
Volunteer Bev spoke about how people still aren’t aware of the fact that female cows are impregnated to produce milk, and they are given a misleading image of the dairy industry.
During their Down with Dairy events, attendees stand masked holding a placard or a mobile device showing footage of dairy farming.
They do not protest, instead conducting peaceful outreach demonstrations.
